- First I cut 20 five inch squares. I measured in 3/4 of an inch from both edges of one corner and made of mark. I repeated this procedure on the opposite corner except that the marks were 3 inches from the corner.
Then I cut bunches of strips and sewed them from the 3/4 inch mark to the 3 inch mark. The blue fabric was used like a foundation for the flip and sew strips.
After creating 4 of these blocks and adding a border of leftover strips....
a pillow top is created.
